Anthony Kuchera is currently an Assistant Professor at Davidson College. He has been the SPS Zone 5 Councilor since 2019 and has also served as SPS advisor for his chapter. Prior to his time at Davidson College, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University working with the Modular Neutron Array (MoNA) to study the structure of neutron-rich nuclei. His educational history includes a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from Florida State University in 2013 and a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 2008.
