Overview & Application Instructions
Based on scholarship and SPS participation, this $2,000 award is presented annually to an SPS member who is participating in a teacher education program and who plans to pursue a career in physics education.
To apply for the SPS Future Teacher Scholarship, please read carefully and follow the instructions on the Society of Physics Students leadership scholarship announcement and application form. In regards to question number 14, "Career Objectives," your statement should include your experiences and ambitions with regard to teaching physics.
Be sure to attach a statement from your SPS Advisor certifying your participation in a teacher education program.
