The application also requires a certification from an advisor or academic mentor that the applicant is in good standing with the department; the online application will guide applicants through the process of requesting this certification.
If you receive a Travel Award, you are required to acknowledge the support that you received by including an SPS logo on your poster. You will also be required to submit a W-9 form (or equivalent). The award check will be mailed within 30 days after PhysCon after verification of your attendance. A student may not receive both a Travel Award and a Chapter Reporter Award.
The PhysCon Travel Award is funded, in part, by the generosity of Sigma Pi Sigma members through donations. To donate to Sigma Pi Sigma and the PhysCon Student Travel Fund, visit: https://donate.aip.org/
