Another late entry! I have spent my week going to the lab at my campus, it is has finally paid off. To recap, the goal for me was to analyze methods of depositing solvents for use with LDI mass spectrometry.
This past week has looked a bit different from standard operating procedure. As opposed to the usual variety of tasks and webinars, I really focused on a single project for scientific research funding legislation our committee is drafting.
Between 5th grade and Sophomore year of high school, I’d spend my summers at a Jewish sleep away camp in Wisconsin. I have many good memories of living in a sweltering cabin with some of my best friends in the world.
On Wednesday morning, I attended the Physics Today Online team’s strategy session. During this meeting, the team reviewed their procedures, accessed what wasn't working, and made plans for improvement moving forward.
