This week was move-in week along with orientation! Its my first time living in dorms along with a roomate. I flew from Texas early sunday morning and I got to D.C. in the afternoon. Coincedentally, I actually bumped into another intern on that flight.

This first week has certainly flown by! The interns were able to get together for dinner Monday night before orientation at a restaurant named Tonic, where we got to learn more about one another before our initiation into the program.

It’s a bit of a strange feeling, writing this blog from my dorm in Hamilton, NY, instead of Amsterdam Hall. I had definitely become very used to life in D.C., and having all the other interns around. The last week went by in no time, even though we did quite a bit.
