SPS Outstanding Chapter Advisor

Kristopher Bunker is the Advanced Physics Lab and Prototyping Manager at the University of Colorado Denver where he has worked since 2015. He received a BS in Mathematics and MS in Physics from Michigan Technological University. His graduate research was focused in atmospheric/cloud physics and ice nucleation.
Kristopher served as the advisor of the CU Denver Chapter of SPS from 2015 to 2020. The chapter received either Distinguished or Outstanding Chapter Awards in four of those years. The highlight of his time as Chapter Advisor was bringing over 20 physics students to PhysCon in San Francisco, CA in 2016.
