Pujita is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Physics at Truman State University (class of 2020). She has lived in the St. Louis area since she was born and has consistently been involved with the local community through volunteering and club involvement; she also has continued this in college. Though Truman’s Women in Physics Club she has organized and helped plan outreach events for students in the local community, through Stargazers Astronomy Club she has participated and engaging the public in the night sky during the astronomy open houses hosted at the observatory, and she has spent time inspiring the general Truman physics community through her involvement with the local Society of Physics Students (hereafter SPS) chapter. Pujita is currently involved in Astronomy research under Dr. Vayujeet Gokhale. She is the President of Women in Physics, Vice President of the Society of Physics Students, and has previously served as the Secretary and Webmaster of Stargazers Astronomy Club. She enjoys leadership roles and inspiring others to pursue physics and get involved in STEM.
