Tutor.com Partners with SPS to Recruit Top Notch Physics Tutors

 SPS has partnered with Tutor.com to try to recruit more on-line physics tutors. The SPS national office has looked closely at Tutor.com, and talked to some SPS members who have worked for them, and we feel that they are a good company to be associated with. They need physics tutors, and SPS is the place that they looked to find them. It seems like a good arrangement for all involved.
 SPS has reviewed the on-line application procedures, and it is likely that many SPS members, especially those who did well in introductory physics, should make it through the application process with flying colors. Tutors who provide on demand tutoring through Tutor.com set their own hours, earn extra income and work from the comfort of their own homes. All of the tutoring is done online in Tutor.com's proprietary online classroom which includes chat, file sharing and Web browsing.
SPS does receive a modest referral fee if you are accepted as a tutor, so please indicate on the application form that you are associated with SPS, unless that really offends your sensibilities.
