He has belonged to many societies where he devotes his time and energy to their goals, including Sigma Pi Sigma physics honor society, Phi Kappa Phi national honor society, and Golden Key national honor society. Dr. Head’s willingness to become involved in the academic community around him is evidenced by how students describe him, saying “there is no activity placed on the chapter reports that Dr. Head does not personally interact with”. Many claim the reason why Dr. Head stands out more so than other advisors or professors is his “devotion to his students”, especially shown through the twice a week study sessions he hosts for students along with his ever-helpful insight and guidance he provides to information-seeking students.
